Every piece in our boutique begins with a sketch, a feeling and a little bit of imagination. This is my story.
Our Story
Art, Collectables and Little Moments of Joy
Njoysit is a Melbourne-based art, lifestyle and collectables boutique created by artist and founder Joy Dimopoulos.
The brand began during one of the most difficult chapters of Joy’s life. After experiencing cancer and later living with CIDP, a chronic neurological condition, Joy spent long periods at home managing pain, uncertainty and major changes to everyday life.
During this time, art became a source of comfort, strength and hope.
Drawing, painting and creating gentle characters helped Joy express emotions that were difficult to put into words. Collecting nostalgic and beautifully designed objects also brought warmth into her home and created small moments of happiness during challenging days.
From that experience, Njoysit was born.

At the heart of Njoysit is Joy’s belief that art should be part of everyday life.
Art can live inside a journal, on a desk, in a creative workspace or on a favourite morning mug. A familiar character can bring back a treasured childhood memory, while a small illustration can offer encouragement during a difficult day.
Joy’s original characters explore kindness, courage, vulnerability and hope. They reflect the idea that softness is not weakness and that creativity can help something beautiful grow from difficult experiences.
